This week its the great Laird Hamilton, all round water man. In this clip he does  a little bit of longboarding.

WAVES ?

Well the days are getting longer, I need to look on the bright side because the surf just has not been good for a long time. It makes me want to take up knitting. Well may be not that extreme , but I bet we are all feeling the same .
SO to try and help cheers us all up I've found a short [6min ] video of some longboard surfing in Brazil.

surfing Malibu + top 5 place I would surf

 Malibu has to be the place I have always wanted to surf. I know it's crowded, but I just want to surf there.

As I was posting this I though what is my 5 waves I would love to surf.

Found this the other day and though you all might like it. It's let say unusual

Cheer up it's nearly summer.

With this spell of strong winds (nothing to do with Christmas sprouts) and poor waves for us here in Bude .
 I have been trawling  the internet to find a video of UK surfing and this is what I found. It keeps with the tradition of the site as there is longboarding short boarding and at least one wave near Bude.

Saturdays surf

Went for a surf today, got in about 3.00. did need boots but no gloves or hood. The water was ok but the wind chill was not very nice. As far as the surf , well it was choppy/ messy all over the shop. But was glad to get in as its been over 10 days since last surf.

A few days ago I found this software that allowed you too mosaic a picture. So I used this picture of Lewis and then mosaic it used pictures of surfing near Bude and this was the result.
